When I was a kid there was no access to nice tools and other equipment that could make your live easier, so the DIY side was a natural part of everybody. Both my father and my grandfather, was always creating someting.
When watching my grandfather creating things in his workshop, he always tried to explain to me how things are made and who they work. He was an important person in my life.
Those moments and memories was a beginning to my “technical life” and who I am today. Those things are why I very interested in technology, engineering, design and creation.
I may not be a YouTuber with awesome woordworking skills, but as an engineer and CAD export I design things and make then as good and nice as I can.
At first study Software Engineering, but after a wile I decided to study Structure Engineering. It is what I do today.
The funny thing is that my hobby is about mechanical engineering, robotics, mechanical design, design, prototyping and manufacturing.
I uses several 3D CAD software: Revit Structure, Robot Structure Analysis Pro, AutoCAD & ADT, SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 are just a few of many others.
You can read more about my skills at my LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/martin-adam-martinsen-12156298.
Now I have the new shop, which allows me to spend more time creating things.
